Server Rules

Our Guiding Philosophy

Our goal is to create a respectful, collaborative, and creative environment where players can build magnificent structures without fear of grief or drama. These rules are designed to protect players, their creations, and the server itself. By playing on our server, you agree to abide by all the rules listed below.

1. General Community Rules

These are the foundational rules for our community.

1.1 Be Respectful: We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or personal attacks. Treat all players and staff with respect.
1.2 No Spamming: Do not spam chat, Discord, or DMs. This includes excessive use of caps, repeated messages, or advertising.
1.3 Keep it PG-13: Keep language and build content generally appropriate. No NSFW or overly offensive content.
1.4 No Cheating: The use of hacked clients, x-ray packs, or any mod that gives you an unfair advantage is strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban. Altering the modpack by adding, removing, or changing mods is strictly prohibited. The only exception is for client-side mods that are purely cosmetic or for performance enhancement.

2. Building & Land Claiming Rules

These rules are essential for maintaining a beautiful and organized world.

2.1 Claim Your Land: You MUST claim your build area. Unclaimed builds are not protected from griefing. Staff will not roll back griefing on unclaimed areas.
2.2 Respect Boundaries: Do not build within 500 blocks of another player’s claim without their explicit permission. This prevents crowding and allows everyone space to expand.
2.3 No Unsightly Structures:
- Temporary structures like dirt towers, 1x1 pillars, or floating platforms must be removed when you are done with them.
- Large, ugly farms or mob grinders should be hidden underground or integrated tastefully into a build.
- Do not leave floating trees. Replant or fully remove them.
2.4 Terraforming: Respect the natural landscape. While terraforming is encouraged for builds, avoid creating large, unnatural scars on the world. Blend your changes into the environment.
2.5 No Lag Machines: Do not build contraptions that cause significant server lag. This includes oversized mob farms, rapid-fire redstone clocks, or excessive entity cramming. Staff may remove lag-intensive machines with or without warning.

3. Griefing and Theft

Protecting your creations is our highest priority.

3.1 Zero-Tolerance for Griefing: Griefing is defined as intentionally destroying, defacing, or altering another player’s claimed property without permission. This is our most serious offense and will result in a permanent ban.
3.2 No Stealing: Do not take items from another player’s chests, furnaces, or storage systems, even if they are in an unlocked container within a claim. Community farms and storage will be clearly marked as such.
3.3 Reporting Issues: If you are a victim of griefing or theft, do not retaliate. Take screenshots, note the coordinates, and DM @Landon in our Discord.

4. Collaboration and Community Projects

We encourage players to work together!

4.1 Shared Projects: When collaborating, ensure all parties agree on the design and resource usage. Use our Discord to document your agreements for large-scale community builds.
4.2 Public Infrastructure: Players are welcome to build public roads, railways, or other infrastructure. Please propose large projects in Discord first to ensure they align with the community’s vision and don’t interfere with existing builds.

Consequences

Breaking these rules will result in disciplinary action, handled on a case-by-case basis.

Verbal Warning: For minor infractions.
Temporary Ban (24-72 hours): For repeated minor infractions or more serious violations.
Permanent Ban: For major violations like griefing, cheating, or severe harassment.
